Free blue vintage crochet shift dress pattern trimmed with Irish Crochet 10-16.

Enjoy crocheting this 1970’s sheath dress with a dramatic trim of Irish Crochet Roses.

These directions are for size 10. Changes for sizes 12, 14, and 16 are in parentheses.

Materials:

Bernat Meadowspun (1-oz pull-skein) 11 (12-13)

1 Bernat Aero crochet hook

Size 2.50 mm (New Size C)

Or any size hook that will give the stitch gauge given in the instructions.

CROCHET HOOK:

Boye or Diana Size H or Size to Give Gauge

GAUGE:

24 spaces = 9 inches

5 rows = 1 inch

NOTE: This dress has been planned for 38 (38.5-39) inch finished length to shoulder. If you wish your dress to be longer or shorter, work more or fewer inches before the first decrease.
