Strikingly Different, an embroidered slip-on can be a fashion stole just cast on stitches for the front of the sweater and knit a straight piece. turn to page 55 for how-to embroidery illustrations of stitches.

Flaunting Fashion shown on page 42 is easy-to-knit as a full-length coat, add straight piece cuffs and scarf in the houndstooth stitch of the skirt and challenging for the designer in the houndstooth pattern stitch.
Very Young, Very Versatile shown on page 32, is an Italian shirt-dress a jacket and a sleeveless shift with an oversized collar. for shirt-dress make 2 backs then divide in half just below the waist, add tabs. for a jacket just don’t knit too much and omit pockets and collar. for a shift, again knit 2 backs (1 for the front with round neck and on coat). Add pockets and an oversized collar.
