Free Vintage Fruit Crochet Centerpiece 1916 Free Vintage Fruit Crochet Lace Centerpiece Pattern in three pieces. To make this centerpiece doily choose a cotton and hook which will give a gauge of 6 spaces to the inch, this will make a set with measurements. Dimensions 31 1/2 inches by 13 1/2 inches Please Note: All pieces are started across the middle of the design, which eliminates much of the increasing, and much of the intricate and irregular edge is therefore confined to decreasing for most of the lace work. There are not filet crochet lace stitches in this design, just spaces, and blocks, but for anyone desiring to make a really beautiful and unique centerpiece, could by penciling in a lacet and bar design, on the inner plain spaces part of the design, on the inner plain spaces part of the design. If you do this, do remember to make the design continuous when you reverse at the center on completion of one end of the centerpiece.
