MATERIALS: Round gift frame with 5 1/3″ inner diameter. Two round pieces of cardboard 5 1/2″ in diameter. Blue satin fabric, piece 7 3/8″ in diameter. Crochet cotton number 30, 20-g balls, 1/4 ball white, a small amount of blue, orange, and rose. Small amount gold embroidery thread. Steel crochet hook US size 11, or size to obtain given measurements. A piece of padding fabric or material to insert between satin and cardboard, same size as cardboard. Glue.   Irish Crochet Lace Flower Medallion Pattern SIZE: Completed pillow measures 10 inches square MATERIALS: Ecru broadcloth or satin fabric, piece 23 1/2 X 10 3/4″ (this includes 3/8″ seam allowance all around. 1″ seam allowance for zipper opening). Red velvet, piece 6 5/8″ square. Ecru zipper, 9″ long. Small amount gold thread. Ecru sewing thread. Sewing needle, Ecru crochet of tatting cotton Number 50, about 290 yards. Steel crochet hook US size 13 or size for gauge. Tracing paper. Pencil. Pillow form, 10″ square. EQUIPMENT: Sewing machine, shears, small sharp scissors and tailor’s chalk. White Camellia Irish Lace Doily Pattern SIZE: 10 1/8″ in diameter MATERIALS: White crochet cotton Number 20 between 150 yards (three-cord) and 180 yards (six-cord). Steel crochet hook US size 9 or size for gauge. GAUGE: Flower = 1 3/4″ in diameter; each leaf is 1 1/4″ high. For mat measuring about 1 1/2″ in diameter use crochet cotton Number 40 and hook US size 13.
